How We’re Celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month

I am going into this week feeling so refreshed because Pierce is home from college! It was the sweetest gift to have him back for Mother's Day and enjoy family time together. While the weekend was full of celebration, we felt the simultaneous tension of loss as we spent our first Mother's Day without Gabe's mom. My father-in-love came to visit while we looked through old photos and shared stories about our beloved Meeme. If Mother's Day was difficult for you, know that I see you and I am praying for you.

This May we are also celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month. In everything we do, we seek to help people take charge of their emotional health. This is the rhythms message that has transformed my life and that I am called to share with you. I recently had the joy of participating in an online anxiety course through an organization called Share the Struggle. While anxiety is only one piece of the complexity of mental health, I pray this resource would bring healing and hope to your heart.

Today on the Rhythms for Life podcast, Angela Perritt joins us to talk about the power and beauty of the Word of God. Angela shares how a rhythm of intentional Scripture time has transformed her life, and how that has flowed into her calling to help women encounter the love of God. Through translating Bible studies into multiple languages and the SOAP reading technique, she is helping women to see the history of God's faithfulness across generations. You can get your copy of the Young Women Love God Greatly Bible, out now.

Be sure to follow along with the Rhythms for Life podcast and leave a review so we can continue to reach others with these conversations.

Cheering you on,

Rebekah
